Ceps, our Australian Bearded Dragon

Ceps, Australian bearded dragon

Ceps is an Australian Bearded Dragon named after the Latin name Pogona Vitticeps. Found in the deserts of Australia they spend a lot of their time basking under the sun. Their large throat will expand when the lizard feels threatened and this explains the name bearded dragon.

Our two bearded dragons have their own personality with Ceps being the youngest and most energetic. They are omnivorous eating lettuce, fruit and insects.
